Позакласний захід "Збереження довкілля"

Ведучий 1. Without the Earth we have no where to live, along with many other organisms. If we don't save the Earth now maybe our children or grandchildren might not be able to see it for long. Our atmosphere is weakening and we have to do something about it fast. 

Ведучий 2. We could plant more trees to create more oxygen to keep the bad air away from the atmosphere, or we could just stop cutting down the rainforest. We are living and we need the space but we aren't the only species on this earth. Saving the rainforest is not only good for us and the atmosphere but also good for the many different species that it homes.

Ведучий 1. We could try to get as many people as possible to switch to hybrids and other energy saving things to use less fossil fuel for energy and relying more on solar and wind energy. Fossil fuels are destroying our earth and we need to limit the use of it.

Ведучий 2. We can save our planet earth by saving our trees, natural vegetation, natural resources, water, electricity. We can take measures for controlling environmental pollution and global warming.

Діалог між двома друзями щодо забруднення довкілля

Ірина : Hello. How are you?

Северин: Thanks. I am fine. How are you?

Ірина  : I am also fine. Where are you going?

Северин : I am going to the mayor for requesting him to take necessary steps against environment pollution.

Ірина: Environment pollution has become a great problem in our life.

Северин: You are right. Though environment helps us to exist, we don’t bother of it. We are polluting it indiscriminately.

Ірина  : People are not aware of it. They throw their waste here and there.

Северин : Mills and factories are polluting the environment through their toxic chemicals.

Ірина  : Too much vehicles are polluting the air by smoke and fumes.

Северин : Super tankers and human wastes are responsible for water pollution.

Ірина  : Farmers use fertilizers and pesticides for more production. But these chemicals get mixed with pond and river water.

Северин : Every day we use million tons of fuel for cooking and other purposes. These are also responsible for pollution.

Ірина  :  But we cannot live without cooking food.

Северин : You are right. But, we should be conscious of it. In most cases, we are not aware of the importance of environment.  

Ірина : So, what should we do?

Северин : We should take care of our environment. It’s true that we cannot stop pollution for good. But we can lessen it.

Ірина  : I agree with you. My friend, I have to go now. Ok, see you later.

Северин : Bye.

Ведучий 1. The earth is the planet given to us by God to live on. Despite what scientists might have us believe, it is the only planet in our solar system that humanity can comfortably inhabit. The earth is a paradise for the creatures that live on it. Every species on earth has its place in the circle of life. Human beings need food, clothing, shelter to survive. All of these are provided in ample supply on God's green earth. It is an unfortunate fact the we have not taken good care of the land that has been placed in our guardianship. Hopefully, it is not too late.
